二、菩提經二 Dutiyabodhisuttaṁ

如是我聞:一時,世尊初成正覺,住於優樓頻螺地區尼連禪河畔菩提樹下。爾時世尊七日單跏趺坐,享解脫之樂。

經七日已,乃從定起;於中夜分,逆思緣起之法:「此無故彼無,此滅故彼滅。無明滅則行滅,行滅則識滅,識滅則名色滅,名色滅則六處滅,六處滅則觸滅,觸滅則受滅,受滅則愛滅,愛滅則取滅,取滅則有滅,有滅則生滅,生滅則老、死、憂、悲、苦、惱、辛滅;苦集如是而滅。」

爾時世尊,如是知已,即興自說此偈:

修禪婆羅門,精進斷煩惱;悟得緣滅法,諸疑必自消。

yadā have pātubhavanti dhammā ātāpino jhāyato brāhmaṇassa,

athassa kaṅkhā vapayanti sabbā, yato khayaṁ paccayānaṁ avedī” ti.

When (the nature of) things becomes really manifest to the ardent meditating brāhmaṇa, then all his doubts disappear, since the destruction of causes has been understood.”
