一一一三(八二五)學戒多福利一;小部-如是語四六經。
1.序
如是我聞:一時,佛住舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。
2.多福利
爾時、世尊告諸比丘:學戒多福利,住智慧為上,解脫堅固,念為增上。若比丘學戒福利,智慧為上,解脫堅固,念增上已,令三學滿足。何等為三?謂增上戒學,增上意學,增上慧學。
3.說偈
爾時、世尊即說偈言:
學戒隨福利,專思三昧禪,智慧為最上,現生之最後,牟尼持後邊,降魔度彼岸。
4.結
佛說此經已,諸比丘聞佛所說,歡喜奉行。
I.
如是語四六經
1.Itivuttaka.46.Sikkhānisaṃsasuttaṃ
Vuttaṃ
hetaṃ bhagavatā. Vuttam arahatā'ti me sutaṃ.
Sikkhānisaṃsā
bhikkhave viharatha paññuttarānaṃ vimuttisārānaṃ
satādhipateyyānaṃ dvinnaṃ phalānaṃ aññataraṃ phalaṃ
pāṭikaṅkhaṃ: diṭṭheva dhamme aññā, sati vā upādisese
anāgāmitā'ti.
Etamatthaṃ
bhagavā avoca. Tatthetaṃ iti vuccati:
"Paripuṇṇasekhaṃ
apahānadhammaṃ Paññuttaraṃ jātikhayantadassiṃ
Taṃ
va muniṃ antimadehadhāriṃ Mānaṃ jahaṃ brūmi jarāya
pāraguṃ.
Tasmā
jasā jhānaratā samāhitā Ātāpino jātikhayantadassino
Māraṃ
sasenaṃ abhibhuyya bhikkhavo Bhavātha jātimaraṇassa pāragā"ti.
Ayampi
attho vutto bhagavatā. Iti me sutanti.
2.[Thanissaro
Bhikkhu]
This
was said by the Blessed One, said by the Arahant, so I have heard:
"Monks, live with the trainings [in heightened virtue,
heightened mind, & heightened discernment] as your reward, with
discernment uppermost, release the essence, & mindfulness the
governing principle. As you live with the trainings as your reward,
with discernment uppermost, release the essence, & mindfulness
the governing principle, then one of two fruits can be expected:
either gnosis right in the present life, or — if there be any
remnant of clinging-sustenance — non-return."
Complete
in the training, not subject to falling away, one with discernment
uppermost, seeing the stopping, the ending of birth: that sage bears
his last body, has shaken off Mara, I tell you, has gone beyond
aging. So, always delighting in jhana, centered, ardent, seeing the
stopping, the ending of birth, conquering Mara, along with his host,
monks, be gone-beyond aging & death.
3.小部-如是語46經:
我聞應供已說,世尊說此:諸比丘!有應學者之勝利,有最上之慧,有解脫
味,應住於四念處觀。諸比丘!有應學者之勝利,有最上之慧,有解脫味,住於
至上四念處觀者,可期待二果中之一果,於現法智〔阿羅漢果〕或如有〔煩惱之〕
餘依成不還果。世尊說此義,此處如是說:
圓滿有學不斷法,生之滅盡最上慧,彼牟尼持最后身,捨慢老之達彼岸。
是故靜慮悅等持,熱心者見生滅盡,擁兵制魔比丘眾,超越為逾生死者。
我聞世尊說此義。
4.本事經,卷第四,T17,681b:
吾從世尊聞如是語:苾芻當知!修學勝利,於如來所修行梵行,慧為上首,解脫堅固,念最尊勝。若有成就修學勝利,於如來所修行梵行,慧為上首,解脫堅固,念最尊勝。彼終不為味著色貪纏擾其心,亦復不為味著聲、香、味、觸、法貪纏擾其心,心不為貪所纏擾故。無隨味著色相貌識,無隨味著聲、香、味、觸、法相貌識。於二果中,隨證一果,謂於現法證有餘依般涅槃界,或不還果。
爾時世尊重攝此義,而說頌曰:
修學勝利人,依佛修梵行,慧為其上首,及解脫堅牢。
念最居尊勝,二果隨證一,謂現法涅槃,及永不還果。
由慧為上首,貪不擾其心,無隨色等緣,相貌所生識。
學勝利圓滿,生勝定上慧,盡生老死邊,證有餘依界。
故汝等苾芻,應勤修戒定,生微妙勝慧,盡生老病死。
住我法律中,能無放逸者,定壞魔軍力,永盡眾苦邊。
