云何論所依？當知有十種。謂所成立義有二種，能成立法有八種。所成立義有二種者，一、自性；二、差別。
[解]什麼是論所依呢？根據什麼來說話呢？應當知道有十種根據。哪十種？就是所要成立的宗旨有二種，能成立的理由有八種。所成立的宗旨有二種，哪二種？一、自性，二、差別。vādādhiṣṭhānaṃ
katamat/ tad daśavidhaṃ draṣṭavyaṃ/ sādhyo 'rtho dvividhaḥ/
sādhyasyārthasya sādhanam aṣṭavidhaṃ/ sādhyo 'rtho
dvividhaḥ katamaḥ svabhāvo viśeṣaś ca/

FOUNDATION OF THE DEBATE
What
is the foundation of the debate (vadadhisthana)? There are ten kinds.
Two kinds are the two thesis topics (sadhya-artha). Eight kinds are
the proving (sadhana) of the thesis topics. What are the two theis
topics? They are the individual presence (svabhava) and the
qualification (viseya).
4.3.1.所成立自性
所成立自性者，謂有立為有，無立為無。
[解]什麼是所成立的自性？若是這一件事是有，就說他是有，這就是自性。這件事是沒有的，就說他是沒有。tatra
svabhāvaḥ/ sādhyaḥ sac ca sato 'sac cāsataḥ/
Among
them, a. The thesis individual presence is existence of an existent,
and nonexistence of a nonexistent.
