辛七、諸緣等(分十二科)壬一、緣生(分二科)癸一、問
云何緣生?幾是緣生?為何義故觀緣生耶?kathaṃ pratītyasamutpannaṃ kati pratītyasamutpannāni kimarthaṃ pratītyasamutpannaparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、正釋三問(分三科)丑一、釋緣生義 
謂相故、分別支故、略攝支故、建立支緣故、建立支業故、支雜染攝故、義故、甚深故、差別故、順逆故是緣生義。 lakṣaṇato 'pyaṅgavibhāgato
'pi aṅgasamāsato 'pyaṅgapratyayatvavyavasthānato 'pi aṅgakarmavyavasthānato 'pi aṅgasaṃkleśasaṃgrahato 'pi arthato 'pi gāmbhīryato 'pi prabhedato 'pyanuloma(pratiloma) to 'pi pratītyasamutpannaṃ draṣṭavyam /

丑二、釋幾是緣生
一切皆是緣生,唯除法界、法處一分諸無為法。sarvāṇi dharmadhātvāyatanaikadeśaṃ sthāpayitvā /

丑三、釋為何義觀緣生 
為捨執著無因不平等因我法故觀察緣生。ahetuviṣamahetukātmābhiniveśatyājanārtham //

子二、別解十種緣生義(分十科)丑一、相故
何等相故?謂無作緣生故、無常緣生故、勢用緣生故是緣生相。kathaṃ lakṣaṇataḥ / nirī(ha)pratyayotpattitāmupādāya anityapratyayotpattitāmupādāya samarthapratyayotpattitāmupādāya //

丑二、分別支故 
何等分別支故?謂分別緣生為十二分。何等十二?謂無明、行、識、名色、六處、觸、受、愛、取、有、生及老死。kathamaṅgavibhāgataḥ / dvādaśāṅgāni / dvādaśāṅgaḥ pratītyasamutpādaḥ avidyā saṃskārā vijñānaṃ nāmarūpaṃ ṣaḍāyatanaṃ sparśo vedanā tṛṣṇopadānaṃ bhavo jātirjarāmaraṇaṃ ca //

丑三、略攝支故 
何等略攝支故?謂能引支、所引支、能生支、所生支;能引支者謂無明、行、識,所引支者謂名色、六處、觸、受,能生支者謂愛、取、有,所生支者謂生、老死。kathamaṅgasamāsato 'pi / ākṣepakāṅgamākṣiptāṅgamabhinirvarttakāṅgamabhinirvṛttyaṅgaṃ ca //ākṣepakāṅgaṃ katamat / avidyā saṃskārā vijñānaṃ ca // ākṣiptakāṅgaṃ katamat / nāmarūpaṃ ṣaḍāyatanaṃ sparśo vedanā ca // abhinrivarttakāṅgaṃ katamat / tṛṣṇā upādānaṃ bhavaśca / abhinirvṛttyaṅgaṃ katamat / jāti rjarāmaraṇaṃ ca //

丑四、建立支緣故 
何等建立支緣故?謂習氣故、引發故、思惟故、俱有故建立支緣,隨其所應。kathamaṅgapratyayatvavyavasthānataḥ / vāsanāto 'pyāvedhato 'pi manasikārato 'pi sahabhāvato 'pyāṅgānāṃ pratyayatvavyavasthānaṃ veditavyaṃ tacca yathāyogam //

丑五、建立支業故 
何等建立支業故?謂無明有二種業:一令諸有情於有愚癡、二與行作緣。行有二種業:一令諸有情於諸趣中種種差別、二與識作緣。識有二種業:一持諸有情所有業縛、二與名色作緣。名色有二種業:一攝諸有情自體、二與六處作緣。六處有二種業:一攝諸有情自體圓滿、二與觸作緣。觸有二種業:一令諸有情於所受用境界流轉、二與受作緣。受有二種業:一令諸有情於所受用生果流轉、二與愛作緣。愛有二種業:一引諸有情流轉生死、二與取作緣。取有二種業:一為取後有令諸有情發有取識、二與有作緣。有有二種業:一令諸有情後有現前、二與生作緣。生有二種業:一令諸有情名色、六處、觸、受次第生起、二與老死作緣。老死有二種業:一數令有情時分變異、二數令有情壽命變異。kathamaṅgakarmavyavasthānataḥ / avidyā kiṃkarmikā / bhave ca sattvān saṃmohayati pratyayaśca (Abhidh-s 27) bhavati saṃskārāṇām // saṃskārāḥ kiṃkarmakāḥ / gatiṣu ca sattvān vibhajanti pratyayāśca bhavanti vijñānavāsanāyāḥ // vijñānaṃ kiṃ karmakam / sattvānāṃ karmabandhaṃ ca dhārayati pratyayaśca bhavati nāmarūpasya // nāmarūpaṃ ca kiṃkarmakam / ātmabhāvaṃ ca sattvān grāhayati pratyayaśca bhavati ṣaḍāyatanasya // ṣaḍāyatanaṃ kiṃkarmakam // ātmabhāvaparipūriṃ ca sattvān grāhayati pratya yaśca bhavati sparśasya // sparśaḥ kiṃkarmakaḥ / viṣayopabhoge ca sattvān pravarttayati pratyayaśca bhavati vedanāyāḥ / vedanā kiṃkarmikā / janmopabhoge ca sattvān pravarttayati pratyayaśca bhavati tṛṣṇāyāḥ // tṛṣṇā kiṃkarmikā / janmani ca sattvānākarṣayati pratyayaśca bhavati upādānasya // upādānaṃ kiṃkarmakam / punarbhavādānārthaṃ sopādānaṃ ca sattvānāṃ vijñānaṃ karoti pratyayaśca bhavati bhavasya // bhavaḥ kiṃkarmakaḥ / punarbhave ca sattvānabhimukhīkaroti pratyayaśca bhavati jāteḥ // jātiḥ kiṃkarmikā / nāmarūpaṣaḍāyatanasparśavedanānupūrvyā ca sattvānabhinirvarttayati pratyayaśca bhavati jarāmaraṇasya // jarāmaraṇaṃ kiṃkarmakam / punaḥ punarvayaḥpariṇāmena jīvitapariṇāmena ca sattvānyojayati //

丑六、支雜染攝故 
何等支雜染攝故?謂若無明、若愛、若取是煩惱雜染所攝,若行、若識、若有是業雜染所攝,餘是生雜染所攝。kathamaṅgasaṃkle śasaṃgrahataḥ / yā cāvidyā yā ca tṛṣṇā yaccopādānamityayaṃ saṃkleśasaṃgrahaḥ / ye ca saṃskārā yacca vijñānaṃ yaśca bhava ityayaṃ karmasaṃkleśasaṃgrahaḥ / śeṣāṇi janmasaṃkleśasaṃgrahaḥ //

丑七、義故
何等義故?謂無作者義、有因義、離有情義、依他起義、無作用義、無常義、有剎那義、因果相續不斷義、因果相似攝受義、因果差別義、因果決定義是緣起義。 kathamarthataḥ / niḥkartṛkārthaḥ pratītyasamutpādārthaḥ / sahetukārthaḥ niḥsattvārthaḥ parataṃtrārthaḥ nirohakārthaḥ anityārthaḥ kṣaṇikārthaḥ hetuphalaprabandhānupacchedārthaḥ anurūpahetuphalārthaḥ vicitrahetuphalārthaḥ pratiniyatahetuphalārthaśca pratītyasamutpādārthaḥ //

丑八、甚深故(分三科)寅一、第一義
何等甚深故?謂因甚深故、相甚深故、生甚深故、住甚深故、轉甚深故是甚深義。kathaṃ gāmbhīryataḥ / hetu gāmbhīryato 'pi lakṣaṇagāmbhīryato 'pi utpattibhāgāmbhīryato 'pi sthitigāmbhīryato 'pi vṛttigāmbhīryato 'pi gāmbhīryaṃ draṣṭavyam //

寅二、第二義 
又諸緣起法雖剎那滅而住可得,雖無作用緣而有功能緣可得,雖離有情而有情可得,雖無作者而諸業果不壞可得是故甚深。api khalu kṣaṇikaḥ pratītyasamutpādaḥ sthititaścopalabhyate / nirīhakapratyayaḥ pratītyasamutpādaḥ samarthapratyayaścopalabhyate / niḥsattvaḥ pratītyasamutpādaḥ attvataścopalabhyate /

寅三、第三義
又諸緣起法不從自生、不從他生、不從共生、非不自作他作因生是故甚深。 na svato na parato na dvābhyāṃ na svayaṃkārāpa(ra)kārāhetusamutpannaḥ / ato 'pi gambhīraḥ //

丑九、差別故 
何等差別故?謂識生差別故、內死生差別故、外穀等生差別故、成壞差別故、食持差別故、愛非愛趣分別差別故、清淨差別故、威德差別故是差別義。kathaṃ (Abhidh-s 28) prabhedataḥ / vijñānotpattiprabhedataḥ cyutyupapattiprabhedataḥ vāhyaśasyotpattiprabhedataḥ saṃvarttavivarttaprabhe dattaḥ āhāropastambhaprabhedataḥ iṣṭāniṣṭagativibhāgaprabhedataḥ viśuddhiprabhedataḥ prabhāvaprabhedataśca prabhedo draṣṭavyaḥ //

丑十、順逆故
何等順逆故?謂雜染順逆故、清淨順逆故是說緣起順逆義。kathamanulomapratilomataḥ / saṃkleśā nulomapratilomato 'pi vyavadānānulomapratilomato 'pi pratītyasamutpādasyānulomapratilomanirddeśo draṣṭavyaḥ //

壬二、緣(分二科)癸一、問
云何緣?幾是緣?為何義故觀緣耶?kathaṃ pratyayaḥ kati pratyayāḥ kimarthaṃ pratyayaparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分二科)子一、正釋三問(分三科)丑一、釋緣義
謂因故、等無間故、所緣故、增上故是緣義。hetuto 'pi samanantarato 'pi ālambanato 'pyadhipatito 'pi pratyayo draṣṭavyaḥ /

丑二、釋幾是緣
一切是緣。sarvāṇi pratyayaḥ /

丑三、釋為何義觀緣  
為捨執著我為因法故觀察緣。ātmahetukadharmābhiniveśatyājanārtham //

子二、別解四緣(分四科)丑一、因緣(分二科)寅一、以二習氣顯因緣義  
何等因緣?謂阿賴耶識及善習氣。hetupratyayaḥ katamaḥ / ālayavijñānaṃ kuśalavāsanā ca //

寅二、以七種相顯因緣義(分二科)卯一、總標 
又自性故、差別故、助伴故、等行故、增益故、障礙故、攝受故是因緣義。api khalu svabhāvato 'pi prabhedato 'pi sahāyato 'pi saṃpratipattito 'pi paripanthato 'pi parigrahato 'pi hetupratyayo draṣṭavyaḥ //

卯二、別釋(分七科)辰一、自性
自性者謂能作因自性。kathaṃ svabhāvataḥ /

辰二、差別(分二科)巳一、總標數
差別者謂能作因差別,略有二十種:kāraṇaṃ hetusvabhāvataḥ // kathaṃ prabhedataḥ /

巳二、別釋相  
一生能作,謂識和合望識;二住能作,謂食望已生及未生有情;三持能作,謂大地望有情;四照能作,謂鐙等望諸色;五變壞能作,謂火望薪;六分離能作,謂鎌等望所斷;七轉變能作,謂工巧智等望金銀等物;八信解能作,謂煙望火;九顯了能作,謂宗、因、喻望所成義;十等至能作,謂聖道望涅槃;十一隨說能作,謂名想見;十二觀待能作,謂觀待此故於彼求欲生,如待飢渴追求飲食;十三牽引能作,謂懸遠緣如無明望老死;十四生起能作,謂隣近緣如無明望行;十五攝受能作,謂所餘緣如田水糞等望穀生等;十六引發能作,謂隨順緣如臣事王令王悅豫;十七定別能作,謂差別緣如五趣緣望五趣果;十八同事能作,謂和合緣如根不壞、境界現前、作意正起望所生識;十九相違能作,謂障礙緣如雹望穀;二十不相違能作,謂無障礙緣如穀無障。 utpattikāraṇaṃ tadyathā cakṣuḥ sāmagrī vijñānasya // sthitikāraṇaṃ tadyathā āhāro bhūtānāṃ sattvānāṃ saṃbhavaiṣiṇāṃ ca // dhṛtikāraṇaṃ tadyathā pṛthivī sattvānām // prakāśakāraṇaṃ tadyathā pradīpo rūpāṇām // vikārakāraṇaṃ tadyathā agnirindhanasya // viyogakāraṇaṃ tadyathā dātraṃ chedyasya // pariṇatikāraṇaṃ tadyathā śilpasthānā dikaṃ hiraṇyādīnām // saṃpratyayakāraṇaṃ tadyathā dhūmo 'gneḥ / saṃpratyāyanakāraṇaṃ tadyathā pratijñāhetudṛṣṭāntāḥ sādhyasya // prāpaṇakāraṇaṃ tadyathā mārgo nirvāṇasya // vyavahārakāraṇaṃ tadyathā nāma saṃjñā dṛṣṭiśca // apekṣākāraṇaṃ yadapekṣya yatrārthitvamutpadyate / tadyathā jighatsāmapekṣya bhojane // ākṣepakāraṇaṃ vidūraḥ pratyayaḥ / tadyathā avidyā jarāmaraṇasya // abhinirvṛttikāraṇamāsannaḥ pratyayaḥ / tadyathā avidyā saṃskārāṇām // parigrahakāraṇaṃ tadanyaḥ pratyayaḥ / tadyathā kṣetrodakapāsyā (? vāpyā)dikaṃ sasyodayasya // āvāhakakāraṇamanukūlataḥ pratyayaḥ / tadyathā samyagrājāsevā rājārādhanāyāḥ // prati niyamakāraṇaṃ pratyayavaicitryam / tadyathā pañcagatipratyayāḥ pañcānāṃ gatīnām // sahakārikāraṇaṃ pratyayasāmagrī / tadyathā vijñānasya indriyamaparibhinnaṃ viṣaya ābhāsagataḥ tajjaśca manaskāraḥ pratyupasthitaḥ // (Abhidh-s 29) virodhi kāraṇamantarāyaḥ / tadyathā sasyasyāśaniḥ // avirodhakāraṇama(na)ntarāyaḥ / tadyathā tasyaivāntarāyasyābhāvaḥ //

辰三、助伴 
助伴者謂諸法共有而生必無缺減,如四大種及所造色,隨其所應。 kathaṃ sahāyataḥ / ye dharmāḥ sahabhāvenotpadyante nānyatamavaikalyena / tadyathā bhūtāni bhautikañca //

辰四、等行
等行者謂諸法共有等行所緣必無缺減,如心心所。kathaṃ saṃpratipattitaḥ / ye dharmāḥ sa(ha)bhāvenālambanaṃ saṃpratipadyante nānyatamavaikalyena / tadyathā cittaṃ caitasikāśca //

辰五、增益
增益者謂前際修善不善無記法故,能令後際善等諸法展轉增益後後生起。kathaṃ puṣṭitaḥ / pūrvabhāvitānāṃ kuśalākuśalāvyākṛtānāṃ dharmāṇāṃ yā aparānte uttarottarā puṣṭatarā puṣṭatamā pravṛttiḥ //

辰六、障礙 
障礙者謂隨所數習諸煩惱故,隨所有惑皆得相續增長堅固,乃令相續遠避涅槃。kathaṃ paripanthataḥ / yā kleśānāmanyatamabhāvanayānyatamaprabandhapuṣṭidṛḍhīkāraḥ / nirvāṇasantānadūrīkaraṇāya //

辰七、攝受
攝受者謂不善及善有漏法能攝受自體故。kathaṃ parigrahataḥ / akuśalāḥ kuśalasāsravāśca dharmāḥ / ātmabhāvaparigrahāya //

丑二、等無間緣 
何等等無間緣?謂中無間隔等無間故,同分、異分心心所生等無間故是等無間緣義。kathaṃ samanantarataḥ nairantaryasamanantarato 'pi sabhāgavisabhāgacittacaittotpattisamanantarato 'pi samanantarapratyayo draṣṭavyaḥ //

丑三、所緣緣(分二科)寅一、問 
何等所緣緣?kathamālambanataḥ /

寅二、答列十二種所緣緣義 
謂有分齊境所緣故、無分齊境所緣故、無異行相境所緣故、有異行相境所緣故、有事境所緣故、無事境所緣故、事所緣故、分別所緣故、有顛倒所緣故、無顛倒所緣故、有礙所緣故、無礙所緣故是所緣緣義。paricchinnaviṣayālambanato 'pi aparicchinnaviṣayālambanato 'pi acitrīkāraviṣayālambano 'pi (sacitrīkāraviṣayālambanato 'pi) savastu śikṣālambanato 'pi avastukaviṣayālambanato 'pi vastvālambanato 'pi parikalpālambanatāpi viparyastālambanato 'pi aviparyastālambatopi savyāghātālambanato 'pi avyāghātālambanato 'pi ālambanapratyayo draṣṭavyaḥ //

丑四、增上緣(分二科)寅一、問 
何等增上緣?kathamadhipatitaḥ /

寅二、答列九種增上緣義 
謂任持增上故、引發增上故、俱有增上故、境界增上故、產生增上故、住持增上故、受用果增上故、世間清淨離欲增上故、出世清淨離欲增上故是增上緣義。 pratiṣṭhādhipatīto 'pyāvedhādhipatito 'pi sahabhāvādhipa tito 'pi viṣayādhipatito 'pi prasavādhipatito 'pi sthānādhipatito 'pi phalopabhogādhipatito 'pi laukikaviśuddhya dhipatito 'pi lokottaraviśuddhya dhipatito 'pi adhipati pratyayo draṣṭavyaḥ //

壬三、同分彼同分(分二科)癸一、問
云何同分彼同分?幾是同分彼同分?為何義故觀同分彼同分耶?kathaṃ sabhāgatatsabhāgaṃ kati sabhāgatatsabhāgāni kimarthaṃ sabhāgatatsabhāgaparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋同分彼同分義  
謂不離識彼相似根於境相續生故,離識自相似相續生故是同分彼同分義。vijñānāvirahitatatsādṛśyendriyaviṣayaprabandhotpattito 'pi vijñānavirahitasvasādṛśyaprabandhotpattito 'pi sabhāgatatsabhāgaṃ draṣṭavyam /

子二、釋幾是同分彼同分 
色蘊一分,眼等五有色界、處一分是同分彼同分。rūpaskandhaikadeśaḥ pañcarūpīṇi dhātvāyatanāni

子三、釋為何義觀同分彼同分
為捨執著與識相應、不相應我故觀察同分彼同分。vijñānayuktāyuktātmābhiniveśatyājanārtham //

壬四、執受(分二科)癸一、問
云何執受?幾是執受?為何義故觀執受耶?kathamupāttaṃ katyupāttāni kimarthamupāttaparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋執受義 
謂受生所依色故是執受義。vedanotpatyāśraya(rūpa) ta upāttaṃ draṣṭavyam /

子二、釋幾是執受
色蘊一分,五有色界、處全及四一分是執受。rūpaskandhaikadeśaḥ pañca rūpīṇi dhātvāyatanāni - caturṇāṃ caikadeśaḥ / (Abhidh-s 30)

子三、釋為何義觀執受
為捨執著身自在轉我故觀察執受。dehavaśavarttyā tmābhiniveśatyājanārtham //

壬五、根(分二科)癸一、問  
云何根?幾是根?為何義故觀根耶?kathamindriyaṃ katīndriyāṇi kimarthabhindriyaparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋根義
謂取境增上故、種族不斷增上故、眾同分住增上故、受用淨不淨業果增上故、世間離欲增上故、出世離欲增上故是根義。viṣayagrahaṇādhipatito 'pi kuśalaprabandhādhipatito 'pi nikāyasabhāgasthānadhipatito 'pi śubhāśubhakarmaphalabhogādhipatito 'pi laukikavairāgyādhiopatito 'pi lokottaravairāgyādhipatito 'pi indriyaṃ draṣṭavyam /

子二、釋幾是根
受、識蘊全,色、行蘊一分,十二界、六處全,法界、法處一分是根。vedanāskandho vijñānaskandha rūpasaṃskāraskandhaikadeśaḥ dvādaśa dhātavaḥ ṣaḍāyatanāni dharmadhātvāyatanaikadeśaśca /

子三、釋為何義觀根 
為捨執著增上我故觀察根。ātmādhipatyabhiniveśatyājanārtham //

壬六、苦苦性(分二科)癸一、問
云何苦苦性?幾是苦苦性?為何義故觀苦苦性耶?kathaṃ duḥkhaduḥkhatā kati duḥkhaduḥkhatāni kimarthaṃ duḥkhaduḥkhatāparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋苦苦性義 
謂苦受自相故、隨順苦受法自相故是苦苦性義。duḥkhavedanāsvalakṣaṇato 'pi duḥkhavedanīyadharmasvalakṣaṇato 'pi duḥkhaduḥkhatā draṣṭavyā /

子二、釋幾是苦苦性
一切一分是苦苦性。sarvepāmekadeśaḥ /

子三、釋為何義觀苦苦性
為捨執著有苦我故觀察苦苦性。duḥkhitātmābhiniveśatyāja nārtham //

壬七、壞苦性(分二科)癸一、問
云何壞苦性?幾是壞苦性?為何義故觀壞苦性耶?kathaṃ viparīṇāmaduḥkhatā kati viparīṇāmaduḥkhatāni kimarthaṃ vipariṇāmaduḥkhatāparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋壞苦性義 
謂樂受變壞自相故、隨順樂受法變壞自相故、於彼愛心變壞故是壞苦性義。 sukhavedanāvipariṇatisvalakṣaṇato 'pi sukhavedanīyadharmavipariṇatisvalakṣaṇato 'pi tatra cānunayacittavipariṇatito 'pi vipariṇāmaduḥkhatā draṣṭavyā /

子二、釋幾是壞苦性 
一切一分是壞苦性。sarvepāmekadeśaḥ /

子三、釋為何義觀壞苦性受
為捨執著有樂我故觀察壞苦性。sukhitātmābhiniveśatyājanārtham //

壬八、行苦性(分二科)癸一、問   
云何行苦性?幾是行苦性?為何義故觀行苦性耶?kathaṃ saṃskāraduḥkhatā kati saṃskāraduḥkhatāni kimarthaṃ saṃskāraduḥkhatāparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋行苦性義
謂不苦不樂受自相故,隨順不苦不樂受法自相故,彼二粗重所攝受故,不離二無常所隨不安隱故是行苦性義。 aduḥkhāsukhavedanā svalakṣaṇato 'pi aduḥkhāsukha vedanīyasvadharmalakṣaṇato 'pi tadubhayadauṣṭhulyaparigrahato 'pi dvayāvinirmokṣānityānubandhāyogakṣemato 'pi saṃskāraduḥkhatā draṣṭavyā /

子二、釋幾是行苦性
除三界、二處、諸蘊一分,一切是行苦性。skandhānāṃ trayāṇāṃ dhātūnāṃ dvayoścāyatanayorekadeśaṃ sthāpayitvā sarvāṇi /

子三、釋為何義觀行苦性 
為捨執著有不苦不樂我故觀察行苦性。aduḥkhāsukhātmabhiniveśatyājanārtham //

壬九、有異熟(分二科)癸一、問
云何有異熟?幾是有異熟?為何義故觀有異熟耶?kathaṃ savipākaṃ kati savipākāni kimarthaṃ savipākaparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分二科)子一、正釋三問(分三科)丑一、釋有異熟義
謂不善及善有漏是有異熟。akuśalaṃ kuśalasāsravaṃ ca savipākaṃ draṣṭavyam /

丑二、釋幾是有異熟
十界、四處、諸蘊一分是有異熟。skandhānāṃ daśānāṃ dhātunāṃ caturṇāṃ cāyatanānāmekadeśaḥ /

丑三、釋為何義觀有異熟
為捨執著能捨能續諸蘊我故觀察有異熟。 skandhopanikṣepakapratisaṃghāyakātmābhiniveśatyājanārtham //

子二、釋異熟與異熟生別 
又異熟者唯阿賴耶識及相應法,餘但異熟生非異熟。vipākaḥ punarālayavijñānaṃ sasaṃprayogaṃ draṣṭavyam / tadanyattu vipākajam //

壬十、食(分二科)癸一、問
云何食?幾是食?為何義故觀食耶?kathamāhāraḥ katyāhārāḥ kimarthaṃ māhāraparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分二科)子一、正釋三問(分三科)丑一、釋食義
謂變壞故有變壞者、境界故有境界者、希望故有希望者、取故有取者是食義。pariṇatito 'pi pāriṇāmikaḥ viṣayato 'pi vaiṣayikaḥ āśayato 'pyāśi (? śayi)kaḥ upādānato 'pyupādānikaḥ āhāro draṣṭavyaḥ /

丑二、釋幾是食
三蘊、十一界、五處一分是食。trayāṇāṃ skandhānāmekādaśānāṃ dhātūnāṃ pañcānāñcāyatanānāmekadeśaḥ /

丑三、釋為何義觀食 
為捨執著由食住我故觀察食。āhārasthitikātmabhiniveśatyajanārtham //

子二、別釋四種食差別建立
又此四食差別建立略有四種:一不淨依止住食、二淨不淨依止住食、三清淨依止住食、四示現住食。
api khalvāhāro 'śuddhā śrayasthitikaḥ śuddhāśuddhāśrayasthitikaḥ śuddhāśrayasthitikaḥ sthitisāṃdarśinakaśca draṣṭavyaḥ //

壬十一、有上(分二科)癸一、問
云何有上?幾是有上?為何義故觀有上耶?kathaṃ sottaraṃ (Abhidh-s 31) kati sottarāṇi kimarthaṃ sottaraparīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋有上義 
謂一切有為故、無為一分故是有上義。 saṃskṛtato 'saṃskṛtaikadeśataśca sottaraṃ draṣṭavyam /

子二、釋幾是有上
除法界、法處一分,一切是有上。dharmadhātvāyatanaikadeśaṃ sthāpayitva sarvāṇi /

子三、釋為何義觀有上
為捨執著下劣事我故觀察有上。ātmadravyahīnābhiniveśatyājanārtham //

壬十二、無上(分二科)癸一、問
云何無上?幾是無上?為何義故觀無上耶? kathamanuttaraṃ katyanuttarāṇi kimarthamanuttara parīkṣā /

癸二、答(分三科)子一、釋無上義
謂無為一分故是無上義。asaṃskṛtaikadeśato 'nuttaraṃ draṣṭavyam /

子二、釋幾是無上
法界、法處一分是無上。dharmadhātvāyatanaikadeśaḥ /

子三、釋為何義觀無上
為捨執著最勝事我故觀察無上。ātmadravyāgrābhiniveśatyājanārtham /

庚三、總結 
由此所說差別道理,餘無量門可類觀察。ityanena nayenāpramāṇaḥ prabhedanayaḥ //
