Adopting the Spirit of Awakening
一、前行
()積聚資糧
1.隨喜功德
(1)隨喜下士離苦得安樂
3.1.
[] apāyaduḥkhaviśrāmaṃ sarvasattvaiḥ kṛtaṃ śubhaṃ
anumode pramodena sukhaṃ tiṣṭhantu duḥkhitāḥ // bca.3.1 //
[英譯] I happily rejoice in the virtue of all sentient beings, which relieves the suffering of the miserable states of existence. May those who suffer dwell in happiness.
[如石藏譯]欣樂而隨喜:一切眾有情息苦諸善行、得樂諸福報。
我滿懷著高興隨喜:一切世間眾生所做的能止息惡趣痛苦的不殺等十善行,以及在善趣安享快樂的福報。

apāya-duḥkha-viśrāmaṃ sarva-sattvaiḥ kṛtaṃ śubhaṃ |
惡趣 苦 止息 一切 眾生 所作 善
anumode pramodena sukhaṃ tiṣṭhantu duḥkhitāḥ ||
隨喜 極喜 樂 住 受苦
我滿懷著高興隨喜:「一切世間眾生所做的能止息惡趣痛苦的不殺等十善行。」願受苦眾生能住於樂。

(2)隨喜中士斷惑入涅槃

[] saṃsāraduḥkhanirmokṣam anumode śarīriṇāṃ
bodhisattvatvabuddhatvam anumode ca tāyinām // bca.3.2 //
[英譯] I rejoice in sentient beings' liberation from the suffering of the cycle of existence, and I rejoice in the Protectors' Bodhisattva Hood and Buddhahood.
[如石藏譯]隨喜三學行——二乘菩提因。隨喜眾有情實脫輪迴苦。
我隨喜眾生修集導向解脫的三學等善行;增上的戒定慧三學正是二乘菩提的主因。我也隨喜一切有情眾生真正解脫輪迴的痛苦。

saṃsāra-duḥkha-nirmokṣam anumode śarīriṇāṃ
輪迴 苦 解脫 隨喜 眾生

菩薩性 佛性 隨喜 與 怙主
我也隨喜眾生的解脫輪迴苦,隨喜佛菩提、佛子諸果地。

(3)隨喜上士發心成正覺

[] cittotpādasamudrāṃś ca sarvasattvasukhāvahān
sarvasattvahitādhānān anumode ca śāsinām // bca.3.3 //
[英譯] I rejoice in the teachers' oceanic expressions of the spirit of awakening, which delight and benefit all sentient beings.
[如石藏譯]隨喜佛菩提、佛子諸果地。亦復樂隨喜:能與有情樂發心福善海,及諸饒益行。
我隨喜諸佛所現證的無上菩提,以及菩薩聖眾所修集的十地果德。同時,我也滿懷著高興地隨喜:那出生一切福善的大海——能令眾生獲得安樂的菩提心,和饒益有情的廣大菩薩行。

cittotpāda-samudrāṃś ca sarva-sattva-sukha-āvahān
發心 海 與 一切 眾生 樂 與

一切 眾生 利 引起 隨喜 與 教法
亦隨喜能與有情樂,及饒益諸有情---導師所教導的發心海。

2.請轉法論
3.4.
[] sarvāsu dikṣu saṃbuddhān prārthayāmi kṛtāñjaliḥ
dharmapradīpaṃ kurvantu mohād duḥkhaprapātinām // bca.3.4 //
[英譯] With the folded hands I beseech the Fully Awakened Ones in all directions that they may kindle the light of Dharma for those who fall into suffering owing to confusion.
[如石藏譯]我於十方佛合掌誠祈請:為苦癡迷眾,燃亮正法燈!
此外,我還要誠懇地合起雙掌,向十方諸佛作這樣的祈請:請為飽受痛苦困惑的有情,點亮消除癡暗的正法明燈!

sarvāsu dikṣu saṃbuddhān prārthayāmi kṛtāñjaliḥ
一切 方 正覺 我祈請 合掌

3.請佛住世
3.5.
[] nirvātukāmāṃś ca jinān yācayāmi kṛtāñjaliḥ
kalpān anantāṃs tiṣṭhantu mā bhūdandham idaṃ jagat // bca.3.5 //
[英譯] With folded hands I supplicate the Jinas who wish to leave for Nirvana that they may stay for countless eons, and that this world may not remain in darkness.
[如石藏譯]知佛欲涅槃,合掌速祈請:住世無量劫,莫遺世間迷!
當我得知佛陀將入涅槃的時候,立刻虔誠地合掌向佛祈請:請您長久住世教化眾生,莫入涅槃;不要讓世人沉淪在愚迷和苦惱之中!

nirvātu-kāmāṃś ca jinān yācayāmi kṛtāñjaliḥ
涅槃 欲 而 佛 祈請 合掌
kalpān anantāṃs tiṣṭhantu mā bhūd andham idaṃ jagat // bca.3.5 //
劫 無量 願住 莫 是 闇 此 世界

4.悉皆回向
(1)總回向
3.6.
[] evaṃ sarvam idaṃ kṛtvā yanmayāsāditaṃ śubhaṃ
tena syāṃ sarvasattvānāṃ sarvaduḥkhapraśāntikṛt // bca.3.6 //
[英譯] May the virtue that I have acquired by doing all this relieve every suffering of sentient beings.
[如石藏譯]如是諸觀行,所積一切善,以彼願消除有情一切苦!
修完如上禮敬、供養、懺悔等觀行以後,所積聚的任何善業功德,我願以它們來消除一切有情的種種痛苦並使他們獲致種種的安樂!

evaṃ sarvam idaṃ kṛtvā yan mayā āsāditaṃ śubhaṃ
如是 一切 此 已作 若 我 所得 善
tena syāṃ sarvasattvānāṃ sarva-duḥkha-praśāntikṛt // bca.3.6 //
彼 是 一切有情 一切 苦 息滅

(2)別回向
3.7
[] glānānām asmi bhaiṣajyaṃ bhaveyaṃ vaidya eva ca
tadupasthāyakaś caiva yāvad rogāpunarbhavaḥ // bca.3.7 //
[英譯] May I be the medicine and the physician for the sick. May I be their nurse until their illness never recurs.
[如石藏譯]乃至眾生疾尚未療愈前,願為醫與藥,並作看護士!
在世間所有眾生的疾病還沒有完全痊癒以前,我願意化作藥物、變成醫生,以及照顧病苦眾生的護士!

glānānām asmi bhaiṣajyaṃ bhaveyaṃ vaidya eva ca
病 我是 藥 願我是 醫生 實 與
tad-upasthāyakaś ca eva yāvad roga-apunar-bhavaḥ // bca.3.7 //
彼 護士 與 實 乃至 病 不再 有

3.8.
[] kṣutpipāsāvyathāṃ hanyām annapānapravarṣaṇaiḥ
durbhikṣāntarakalpeṣu bhaveyaṃ pānabhojanam // bca.3.8 //
[英譯] With showers of food and drink may I overcome the afflictions of hunger and thirst. May I become food and drink during times of famine.
[如石藏譯]盼天降食雨,解除饑渴難!於諸災荒劫,願成充饑食!
盼望上天像下雨一般地普降飲食,解除眾生饑渴的災難!在災荒浩劫的期間,願我化作充饑解渴的飲食!

kṣut-pipāsā-vyathāṃ hanyām anna-pāna-pravarṣaṇaiḥ |
饑 渴 難 願我除 食 飲 雨
durbhikṣa-antarakalpeṣu bhaveyaṃ pāna-bhojanaṃ ||
饑饉 小劫 願我是 飲 食

3.9.
[] daridrāṇāṃ ca sattvānāṃ nidhiḥ syām aham akṣayaḥ
nānopakaraṇākārair upatiṣṭheyam agrataḥ // bca.3.9 //
[英譯] May I be an inexhaustible treasury for the destitute! With various forms of assistance may I remain in their presence.
[如石藏譯]為濟貧困者,願成無盡藏!願諸資生物悉現彼等前!
為了救濟那些貧困的有情,願我變成取用不盡的寶藏!希望各種各類的日用所需品都化現在他們的面前!

daridrāṇāṃ ca sattvānāṃ nidhiḥ syām aham akṣayaḥ
貧困的 與 有情 寶藏 願 我 無盡
nānā-upakaraṇa-ākārair upatiṣṭheyam agrataḥ // bca.3.9 //

()昇華自心
1.盡捨身財善根
3.10.
[] ātmabhāvāṃs tathā bhogān sarvatryadhvagataṃ śubhaṃ
nirapekṣas tyajāmy eṣa sarvasattvārthasiddhaye // bca.3.10 //
[英譯] For the sake of accomplishing the welfare of all sentient beings, I freely give up my body, enjoyments, and all my virtues of the three times.
[如石藏譯]為利有情敵,不吝盡施捨身財諸受用、三世一切善。
為了成辦一切有情的利益,我將毫不吝惜地捐贈我的身體,施捨種種受用的財物,和三世所修集的一切善根福德。
[梵文分析]
ātmabhāvāṃs tathā bhogān sarva-try-adhva-gataṃ śubhaṃ
我的身體 如是 受用 一切 三 世 在 善
nirapekṣas tyajāmy eṣa sarva-sattva-artha-siddhaye // bca.3.10 //
不吝惜 捨 此 一切 有情 利益 成辦

3.11.
[] sarvatyāgaś ca nirvāṇaṃ nirvāṇārthi ca me manaḥ
tyaktavyaṃ cen mayā sarvaṃ varaṃ sattveṣu dīyatāṃ // bca.3.11 //
[英譯]Surrendering everything is Nirvana, and my mind seeks Nirvana. If I must surrender everything, it is better that I give it to sentient beings.
[如石藏譯]捨盡則脫苦,吾心成涅槃。與其死方捨,何若生盡施?
若能打從內心裏完全施捨身、財和善根,我將超越一切憂苦而達成佛果的究竟涅槃。既然死時必須棄捨一切,什麼也帶不走,那麼為何不在生前儘量佈施廣積福德呢?

sarva-tyāgaś ca nirvāṇaṃ nirvāṇa-arthi ca me manaḥ
一切 棄捨 與 涅槃 涅槃 尋求 與 我 心
tyaktavyaṃ cen mayā sarvaṃ varaṃ sattveṣu dīyatāṃ // bca.3.11 //
應捨 若 我 一切 勝 眾生 給(imp.)

3.12.
[] yathāsukhīkṛtaś cātmā mayāyaṃ sarvadehināṃ
ghnantu nindantu vā nityam ākirantu ca pāṃsubhiḥ // bca.3.12 //
[英譯]For the sake of all beings I have made this body pleasure less. Let them continually beat it, revile it, and cover it with filth.
[如石藏譯]吾既將此身隨順施有情,一任彼歡喜,恒常打罵殺!
既然我已經把這個身體歡喜隨順地施與眾生了,那麼只要有益於眾生,就任隨他們高興地經常打殺責罵我吧!

yathāsukhīkṛtaś ca ātmā mayā ayaṃ sarva-dehināṃ
隨意而為 與 我 我 此 一切 眾生
ghnantu nindantu vā nityam ākirantu ca pāṃsubhiḥ // bca.3.12 //
殺 責罵 或 常 覆蓋 與 土

3.13.
[] krīḍantu mama kāyena hasantu vilasantu ca
dattas tebhyo mayā kāyaś cintayā kiṃ mamānayā // bca.3.13 //
[英譯] Let them play with my body. Let them laugh at it and ridicule it. What does it matter to me? I have given my body to them.
[如石藏譯]縱人戲我身,侵侮並譏諷,吾身既已施,云何復珍惜?
儘管眾生無聊地戲弄我的身體,或以它作為侵侮譏諷的對象,既然我這個身體已經佈施出去了,又何必再去珍惜保護呢?
[梵文分析]
krīḍantu mama kāyena hasantu vilasantu ca
戲弄 我的 身體 笑 嘲弄 與
dattas tebhyo mayā kāyaś cintayā kiṃ mama anayā // bca.3.13 //
所施 彼 我 身 想 云何 我的 此

2.願成他利之因
2.14.
[] kārayantu ca karmāṇi yāni teṣāṃ sukhāvahaṃ
anarthaḥ kasya cin mā bhūn mām ālambya kadā cana // bca.3.14 //
[英譯] Let them have me perform deeds that are conductive to their happiness. Whoever resorts to me, may it never be in vain.
[如石藏譯]一切無害業,令身盡順受。願彼見我者悉獲眾利益!
因此眾生的言行,只要不對他們構成傷害,我都要儘量勉勵我的身體逆來順受。但願所有遇見我的人都能心生歡喜並獲致種種的利益!
[梵文分析]
kārayantu ca karmāṇi yāni teṣāṃ sukha-āvahaṃ
作 與 業 若 彼 樂 帶來
anarthaḥ kasya cin mā bhūn mām ālambya kadā cana // bca.3.14 //
無益 誰 若 莫 是 我 緣 任何
願眾生對我所做的任何行為,皆能給他們帶來快樂。但願因為我所有人無不受益。

3.15.
[] yeṣāṃ kruddhā prasannā vā mām ālambya matir bhavet
teṣāṃ sa eva hetuḥ syān nityaṃ sarvārthasiddhaye // bca.3.15 //
[英譯] For those who have resorted to me and have an angry or unkind thought, may even that always become the cause for their accomplishing every goal.
[如石藏譯]若人因見我生起信憎心,願彼恒成為成辦眾利因!
如果有人因為遇見我而生起憎恨或敬信之心,願那一念憎、信之心永遠成為他們成辦一切利益的導因!
[梵文分析]
yeṣāṃ kruddhā prasannā vā mām ālambya matir bhavet
若 瞋 信 或 我 緣 心 是
teṣāṃ sa eva hetuḥ syān nityaṃ sarva-artha-siddhaye // bca.3.15 //
彼 彼 實 因 是 常 一切 利 成辦

3.16.
[] abhyākhyāsyanti māṃ ye ca ye cānye 'py apakāriṇaḥ
utprāsakās tathānye 'pi sarve syur bodhibhāginaḥ // bca.3.16 //
[英譯] May those who falsely accuse me, who harm me, and who ridicule me all partake of awakening!
[如石藏譯]惟願毀我者、及餘害我者、乃至辱我者,皆長菩提緣!
希望貶毀我的人、或以其他方式傷害我的人、甚至侮辱我的人,都因此而增長證得無上菩提的福份!
[梵文分析]
abhyākhyāsyanti māṃ ye ca ye ca anye 'py apakāriṇaḥ
毀謗 我 若 與 若 與 餘 雖 害
utprāsakās tathā anye 'pi sarve syur bodhi-bhāginaḥ // bca.3.16 //
侮辱 如是 餘 雖 一切 是 菩提 福份

3.願成所求之因
3.17.
[] anāthānām ahaṃ nāthaḥ sārthavāhaś ca yāyināṃ
pārepsūnāṃ ca naubhūtaḥ setuḥ saṃkrama eva ca // bca.3.17 //
[英譯] May I be a protector for those who are without protectors, a guide for travelers, and a boat, a bridge, and a ship for those who wish to cross over.
[如石藏譯]路人無怙依,願為彼引導,並作渡者舟、船筏與橋樑!
願我充當無人保護者的依怙,行路人安心的嚮導,旅客們渡越江海的舟楫、船筏和橋樑!
[梵文分析]
anāthānām ahaṃ nāthaḥ sārthavāhaś ca yāyināṃ
無怙依 我 怙主 商主 與 旅客
pārepsūnāṃ ca naubhūtaḥ setuḥ saṃkrama eva ca // bca.3.17 //
渡者 與 變為舟 橋樑 船筏 實 與

3.18.
[] dīpārthinām ahaṃ dīpaḥ śayyā śayyārthinām ahaṃ
dāsārthinām ahaṃ dāso bhaveyaṃ sarvadehināṃ // bca.3.18 //
[英譯] May I be a lamp for those who seek light, a bed for those who seek rest, and may I be a servant for all beings who desire a servant.
[如石藏譯]求島即成島,欲燈化為燈,覓床變作床,凡需僕從者,我願成彼僕!
願我化為島嶼,讓航行的船隻棲泊;願我化作明燈,為企盼光明的人照明;願我變成床榻,供應疲憊者休息;願我成為善體人意的僕從,服侍所有需要看護侍候的人!
[梵文分析]
dīpa-arthinām ahaṃ dīpaḥ śayyā śayyā-arthinām ahaṃ
島 求 我 島 燈 燈 求 我
dāsa-arthinām ahaṃ dāso bhaveyaṃ sarvadehināṃ // bca.3.18 //
僕從 求 我 僕從 願我是 一切眾生

3.19.
[] cintāmaṇir bhadraghaṭaḥ siddhavidyā mahauṣadhiḥ
bhaveyaṃ kalpavṛkṣaś ca kāmadhenuś ca dehināṃ // bca.3.19 //
[英譯] To all sentient beings may I be a wish-fulfilling gem, a vase of good fortune, an efficacious mantra, a great medication, a wish-fulfilling tree, and a wish-granting cow.
[如石藏譯]願成如意牛、妙瓶如意寶、明咒及靈藥、如意諸寶樹!
願我成為圓滿眾生意願的如意牛、如意寶和妙瓶、強力有效的明咒和靈藥以及各種如意寶樹!
[梵文分析]
cintāmaṇir bhadraghaṭaḥ siddhavidyā mahauṣadhiḥ
如意寶 妙瓶 有效的明咒 靈藥
bhaveyaṃ kalpavṛkṣaś ca kāmadhenuś ca dehināṃ // bca.3.19 //
願我成為 如意寶樹 與 如意牛 與 眾生

3.20.
[] pṛthivyādīni bhūtāni niḥśeṣākāśavāsināṃ
sattvānām aprameyāṇāṃ yathā bhogāny anekadhā // bca.3.20 //
[英譯] Just as earth and other elements are useful in various ways to innumerable sentient beings dwelling throughout infinite space,
[如石藏譯]如空及四大,願我恒成為無量眾有情資生大根本!
就像地水火風等四大種和虛空始終支持著一切有情眾生和世界;同樣地,願我永遠成為維持一切有情生活的要素!
[梵文分析]
pṛthivyādīni bhūtāni niḥśeṣa-ākāśa-vāsināṃ
地等 大種 一切 虛空 住
sattvānām aprameyāṇāṃ yathā bhogāny anekadhā // bca.3.20 //
眾生 無量 如 有用 許多種
就像地水火風等四大種,以各種方式利益於虛空中的一切有情眾生。

3.21.
[] evam ākāśaniṣṭhasya sattvadhātor anekadhā
bhaveyam upajīvyo ’haṃ yāvat sarve na nirvṛtāḥ // bca.3.21 //
[英譯] So may I be in various ways a source of life for the sentient beings present throughout space until they are liberated.
[如石藏譯]迨至盡空際有情種種界殊途悉涅槃,願成資生因!
一直到盡虛空際的有情界眾生都以各種各樣的方式完全超脫一切憂苦而達成涅槃,願我化成滋長他們生命的要素!
[梵文分析]
evam ākāśa-niṣṭhasya sattvadhātor anekadhā
如是 虛空 位於 有情界 許多種
bhaveyam upajīvyo ’haṃ yāvat sarve na nirvṛtāḥ // bca.3.21 //
願我成為 資生因 我 乃至 一切 不 寂滅

二、正發菩提心
3.22.
[] yathā gṛhītaṃ sugatair bodhicittaṃ purātanaiḥ
te bodhisattvaśikṣāyām ānupūrvyā yathā sthitāḥ // bca.3.22 //
[英譯] Just as the Sugatas of old adopted the spirit of awakening, and just as they properly conformed to the practice of the Bodhisattvas,
[如石藏譯]如昔諸善逝先發菩提心,復次循序住菩薩諸學處。
諸佛如來過去初發菩提心時,都先發起願、行菩提心,然後再遵循修學的先後次第,把心安住在所受持的菩薩學處上。
[梵文分析]
yathā gṛhītaṃ sugatair bodhicittaṃ purātanaiḥ
如 所攝 諸善逝 菩提心 先前的
te bodhisattva-śikṣāyām ānupūrvyā yathā sthitāḥ // bca.3.22 //
彼 菩薩 學處 次第 如 住

3.23.
[] tadvad utpādayāmy eṣa bodhicittaṃ jagaddhite
tadvad eva ca tāḥ śikṣāḥ śikṣiṣyāmi yathākramaṃ // bca.3.23 //
[英譯] So I myself shall generate the spirit of awakening for the sake of the world; and so I myself shall properly engage in those practices.
[如石藏譯]如是為利生,我發菩提心;復於諸學處,次第勤修學。
現在為了利益眾生,我也要效法諸佛,在發起願心之後,受持行菩提心;然後再按部就班地努力修學所受持的各種學處。
[梵文分析]
tadvad utpādayāmy eṣa bodhicittaṃ jagad-hite
如彼 令生起 此 菩提心 生 利
tadvad eva ca tāḥ śikṣāḥ śikṣiṣyāmi yathākramaṃ // bca.3.23 //
如彼 實 與 此 學處 我將學 如其次第

3.24.
[] evaṃ gṛhītvā matimān bodhicittaṃ prasādataḥ
punaḥ pṛṣṭhasya puṣṭyarthaṃ cittam evaṃ praharṣayet // bca.3.24 //
[英譯] Upon gladly adopting the spirit of awakening in this way, an intelligent person should thus nurture the spirit in order to fulfill his wish.
[如石藏譯]智者如是持清淨覺心已,復為增長故,如是讚發心:
一個有智慧的人,依照上述的方式,受持這最極清淨的願、行菩提心以後,為了使它能夠持續不斷地增長,所以應該給自己作一番讚美和鼓勵:

evaṃ gṛhītvā matimān bodhicittaṃ prasādataḥ
如是 已持 有智 菩提心 從淨信
punaḥ pṛṣṭhasya puṣṭy-arthaṃ cittam evaṃ praharṣayet // bca.3.24 //
再 ? 增長 為 心 如是 令歡喜

三、結讚菩提心
()思惟喜獲菩提心
3.25.
[] adya me saphalaṃ janma sulabdho mānuṣo bhavaḥ
adya buddhakule jāto buddhaputro 'smi sāmprataṃ // bca.3.25 //
[英譯] Now my life is fruitful. Human existence is well obtained. Today I have been born into the family of the Buddhas. Now I am a child of the Buddha.
[如石藏譯]今生吾獲福,幸得此人身。復生佛家族,喜成如來子。
今生,我有很好的福報,幸運獲得了這個暇滿的人身。現在,又因發心而誕生在佛陀的家族中,歡喜地成為繼承如來家業的佛子。
[梵文分析]
adya me saphalaṃ janma sulabdho mānuṣo bhavaḥ
今 我 有果 生 善得 人 有
adya buddhakule jāto buddhaputro 'smi sāmprataṃ // bca.3.25 //
今 佛家族 生 如來子 我是 現在

3.26.
[] tathādhunā mayā kāryaṃ svakulocitakāriṇāṃ
nirmalasya kulasyāsya kalaṅko na bhaved yathā // bca.3.26 //
[英譯] Thus, whatever I do now should accord with the Bodhisattvas' family, and it should not be a stain on this pure family.
[如石藏譯]爾後我當為宜乎佛族業;慎莫染汙此無垢尊貴種。
所以從今以後,無論如何,我的一切所作所為都要合乎佛子的身份;決不讓自己再作出卑劣的惡行,以免染汙這無垢尊貴的佛族。
[梵文分析]
tathā adhunā mayā kāryaṃ svakula-ucita-kāriṇāṃ
如是 現在 我 事 自家族 適合 作
nirmalasya kulasya asya kalaṅko na bhaved yathā // bca.3.26 //
無垢 家族 此 染汙 不 應是 如

3.27.
[] andhaḥ saṃkārakūṭebhyo yathā ratnam avāpnuyāt
tathā kathaṃcid apy etad bodhicittaṃ mamoditaṃ // bca.3.27 //
[英譯] Just as a blind man might find a jewel amongst heaps of rubbish, so this spirit of Awakening has somehow arisen in me.
[如石藏譯]猶如目盲人廢聚獲至寶;生此菩提心,如是我何幸!

[英譯] It is the elixir of life produced to vanquish death in the world. It is an inexhaustible treasure eliminating the poverty of the world.
[如石藏譯]滅死勝甘露,即此菩提心;除貧無盡藏,即此菩提心;
能消滅死亡之苦的最勝甘露,是這珍貴的菩提心;能消除眾生貧乏的無盡寶藏,也是這珍貴的菩提心;

世界 死亡 消滅 所生 此 延命藥

[英譯] It is the supreme medicine that alleviates the illness of the world. It is the tree of rest for beings exhausted from wondering on the pathways of mundane existence.
[如石藏譯]療疾最勝藥,亦此菩提心。彼為泊世途眾生休憩樹;
能療除眾生屙疾的最勝醫藥,還是這珍貴的菩提心。它就像一棵蔭涼的大樹,能讓流落三界的疲憊眾生歇息;

[] durgatyuttaraṇe setuḥ sāmānyaḥ sarvayāyināṃ
jagatkleśopaśamana uditaś cittacandramāḥ // bca.3.30 //
[英譯] It is the universal bridge for all travelers on their crossing over miserable states of existence. It is the rising moon of the mind that soothes the mental afflictions of the world.
[如石藏譯]復是出苦橋,迎眾離惡趣,彼是除惱熱東升心明月。
它也像一座跨越苦海的大橋,能接引眾生脫離下三道的苦厄,它仿佛心中東升的明月,能消除眾生煩惱障的悶熱。

[英譯] It is the great sun dispelling the darkness of the world's ignorance. It is the fresh butter formed from churning the milk of Dharma.
[如石藏譯]復是璀璨日,能驅無知霾。是拌正法乳所出妙醍醐。
它也像璀璨光明的烈日,能驅散各種所知障的陰霾。它更像甘美滋補的醍醐,出自慧棒所攪拌的正法鮮乳。

眾生 無知 陰霾 能驅散 大 日

[] sukhabhogabubhukṣitasya vā janasārthasya bhavādhvacāriṇaḥ
sukhasattram idaṃ hy upasthitaṃ sakalābhyāgatasattvatarpaṇaṃ // bca.3.32 //
[英譯] For the caravan of beings traveling on the path to mundane existence and starving for the meal of happiness, it is the feast of happiness that satisfies all sentient beings who have come as guests.
[如石藏譯]於諸漂泊客、欲享福樂者,此心能足彼,令住最勝樂。
對於已經厭倦漂泊三有的眾生旅客,以及想要安享幸福快樂的人們,菩提心能滿足這些有情貴賓的心願,甚至使他們都安住在無上的妙樂之中。

[] jagad adya nimantritaṃ mayā sugatatvena sukhena cāntarā

[英譯] Today I invite the world to Sugata-hood and temporal happiness. May the gods, asuras, and other rejoice in the presence of all the Protectorṣ

今天,在一切救怙主的面前,我誠懇地邀請一切眾生為上賓,來這裏宴饗成佛和其他的一切安樂;希望天和非天等眾生都能高興隨喜。
